A Group for Women

This group is for women who are interested in Mindfulness skills and how they can be used to work with emotions and challenging life situations.

We will learn and practice several different mindfulness and emotional resilience techniques including mindful embodiment, sitting meditation, body scanning, self-compassion and others. We will learn to identify patterns that interfere with emotional well-being using the Ego State model of Transactional Analysis.

This group will be innovative, experiential and most of all a lot of fun!!

Six Weeks – evening sessions

Location: 6218 Quinpool Road, Halifax (across from Canadian Tire)

Cost: $275.00 per person. Some health plans and professional development plans may cover fee. Payment plan available.

Marion Stork, MA RCT is a Counselling Therapist in private practice who has been integrating mindfulness into her counselling and teaching for over 25 years. She leads Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) groups and has completed professional training in MBSR under the direction of Jon Kabat-Zinn PhD. She has a longtime interest in what accelerates human awareness, compassion and effectiveness.
